Dear Parents,
Next week the children will
be very busy at school. Please read the following and if you have any
questions please speak to your class teacher.
Tuesday 21st
February – Zoo Trip
The event will be fully
supervised by EYFS teachers and TA’s. The children will be going leaving
school by bus at 8:15am. Please arrive at school promptly at 7:55am so
that we can register the children and leave on time. The children will
need to wear their school uniform on this day with their hat and sensible shoes
for walking. Can they please also bring a named water bottle in their
bag. We will be taking a packed lunch from the canteen to have at a
picnic style lunch at the zoo before travelling back at 1:15pm.
Wednesday 22nd
February – BVIS Superhero Boot Camp
The event will be fully
supervised by EYFS teachers and TA’s. We will be leaving TX at 8:15 am
and return by 11.30 am. Please see below for further information about
the event:
- All children should arrive at school at 7.55 am and go straight to the classrooms to register. If your child arrives late and the buses have gone, you will need to make your own way to BVIS.
- Children can dress as a superhero or in their school uniform. Please can the children wear a named hat and bring a named water bottle. It is a superhero themed event so please be creative and think of your own costumes is you do not already have one. Look at the pictures below for idea.
- Snack will be provided at BVIS.
The children are all very excited for their busy week.
We will be putting photographs of the fun that they have on the blog.
Have a lovely weekend

Parent Satisfaction Survey 2017
Dear parents,
Thank you to those parents who have already
completed the annual Parent Satisfaction Survey. We are very pleased that
to-date, one third of our parents have responded. We are very keen
to receive feedback from all our parents.
There are only 6 days before the survey
closes. If you have not done so already, we encourage you to take the
time to fill out the 15-minute survey which is available in 18 languages. All
responses will be anonymous and each family needs to respond only once on
behalf of all your children.
Your feedback is essential in creating the best
learning environment for your child, as your responses will inform us on how we
can continue to improve your child’s overall learning experience. The more
parents we hear from, the more confident we can be that our action plans
respond to your views.
Please click on the LINK
to access the survey.
Thank you again for your continued support and feedback. We look forward
to hearing your responses.
Kind regards,
Tim Deyes

Happy New Year and Messages
A big welcome back to all of the F3 families. We hope that you all had a wonderful Tet celebration and enjoyed spending time with your families.
The children have arrived back at school full of excitement and enthusiasm for the term ahead. We have begun a new topic about animals. Keep looking at the blog for news about our up coming visit to the Zoo!

F3X are looking for a new parent class rep. If you could like to support our class in this role then please speak to Ms Hayley.
Shoes and Uniform
Please can you ensure that your child is wearing black shoes to school each day and appropriate sports shoes on a Tuesday. Full guide lines of what shoes are allowed in school can be found in your parent hand books.
Welcome Ms Thanh!
On Monday Ms Thanh joined the F3 team. Ms Thanh will be working in F3 to cover Ms Huong's maternity leave. She has already been given a warm welcome by the children and has enjoyed her first week at BIS. Ms Trinh will continue to be based in F3 and will also be working in other EYFS year groups.

Lotus- Vietnamese symbol
Children have known that lotus is a symbol of Vietnam. They said about the colours and the shape of flower and leaf. They also coloured their own flowers. They were so fabulous.
